Free Lunch & Learn Event – Glasgow’s Green Business Support Programme
Join Glasgow City Council and Peer Works on , Tue 20 May for an engaging and inspiring Lunch and Learn session focused on sustainability and business growth. This free event takes place at The Studio (67 Hope Street, Glasgow) from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.
💡 What to Expect
Titled “Sustainable Success: Small Business, Big Impact”, the session is designed to empower local businesses on their journey to Net Zero by providing insights, inspiration, and practical support.
The event features a keynote from Dominic Dowling, Group Manager of the Business Growth Team in Glasgow City Council’s Economic Development division. Dominic will introduce the Green Business Support Programme—Glasgow’s first initiative focused on helping local companies:
Reduce their carbon footprint
Build climate resilience
Move towards Net Zero
Also speaking is Lucy Gillie of South Seeds, who will share her organisation’s real-life sustainability journey, providing a grounded example of what’s possible for SMEs in Glasgow.
