1. Introduction These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between LifeOnDirect, the Company (client), and Language Providers (interpreters/translators).
2. Parties Involved
LifeOnDirect: Facilitates the connection between Language Providers and the Company.
Company: Engages LifeOnDirect for language services.
Language Providers: Perform requested services and operate under LifeoOnDirect.
Company: Provide accurate information, necessary documents, and timely payments.
LifeOnDirect: Select qualified Language Providers and manage service arrangements.
Language Providers: Deliver services professionally, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to ethical standards.
5. Fees and Payment
Pricing is based on the project scope and agreed in advance.
Invoices must be paid within 30 days. Late payments may incur fees.
Travel expenses may apply if agreed.
6. Cancellations
Translation: Fees apply for work completed before cancellation.
Interpretation: Cancellation fees may apply depending on timing and preparation costs.
7. Confidentiality LifeOnDirect and Language Providers will keep all materials and information confidential and comply with data protection laws.
8. Quality Assurance LifeOnDirect ensures services are delivered by qualified professionals. Errors identified within 2 days of delivery will be corrected at no extra cost.
9. Intellectual Property The Company owns the rights to completed work after payment, except when otherwise specified.
10. Termination Either party may terminate the agreement with notice. Payments are required for services provided up to the termination date.
11. Dispute Resolution Disputes should first be resolved through negotiation. Mediation or litigation may follow if needed.
12. Miscellaneous
LifeOnDirect reserves the right to amend these Terms.
Force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters) may exempt parties from obligations.
